Classic massage

Classic massage is one of the most important forms of massage with a wide range of applications. This form can be used to be active in contact with pickled services, inter alia, on the other side of an orthopaedic or neurological nature, as well as on, through or to strengthen the eastern tissue. It is mainly used in Movement Therapy – it is considered to be one of the most effective forms of therapy in this area.

Properly performed – it has a beneficial effect on the body, in terms of regenerating muscles or improving blood circulation.

How is a classic massage performed?

Classic massage should be performed by a professional masseur or physiotherapist – a person who knows the techniques of this treatment both in theory and in practice. Appropriate use of massage techniques – with the right pressure and speed makes the patient feel better, and his pain, motor and other ailments are reduced.

The techniques used alternately during the classic massage are:

  • stroking
  • kneading
  • grinding
  • squeezing
  • shaking
  • patting
  • vibration
  • passive movements

The masseur applies them in the right sequence, gradually stimulating the tissues and reducing the tension of the muscle parts. The procedure takes about 15-30 minutes to 1.5 hours.

  • Classic massage can be used with many diseases and ailments. This procedure is especially recommended for:

    • orthopaedic injuries – during physiotherapy after: sprains, fractures, sprains and contusions of bones and joints
    • torn and stretched tendons
    • contractures, paresis and paralysis – e.g. after a stroke
    • spine deformation states
    • intense sports training and other intense physical exertion

    • menstruation and being pregnant
    • hypertension
    • increased body temperature – exceeding 39 degrees Celsius
    • varicose veins and inflammation of the veins
    • skin changes – e.g. highly scattered purulent eczema
    • presence of hematomas or risk of bleeding
