Needle and cannula volumetrics are a technique for modeling and correcting the shape of the face. The effect is achieved by increasing the volume of soft tissues with a filler based on hyaluronic acid.

TRAINING PROGRAMME

Theoretical part:

The theory begins with a repetition of the basic issues of facial anatomy, its exemplary proportions and the effect of the aging process on changing their shape. Skillful analysis of the shape of the face is the basis of professional volumetrics. During the classes we will discuss diagnostics and planning of the procedure. You will learn how to use hyaluronic acid to correct the volume of soft tissues.

You will learn about the preparations used in volumetrics – types of hyaluronic acids, their functions, application and division. You will learn to expertly select anesthesia, including infiltration anesthesia, as well as appropriate preparations depending on the corrected areas. In the examples of photos, we will discuss the stages of procedures for modeling the cheeks, nose and jaw, as well as filling the valley of tears. You will learn techniques for working with needles and cannulas.

You will learn the indications and contraindications to the procedure – the trainer will carefully discuss possible side effects, ways to prevent complications and how to treat adverse reactions. Finally, we will repeat the issues of safety at work and the principles of sterilization and disinfection.

Practical part:

The practice will begin with a demonstration procedure – a qualified instructor will present the correct execution of the discussed methods.

Then you will prepare your individual position, where you will start working with the model. After conducting an interview and excluding contraindications, you will independently perform treatments in the field of modeling the cheeks, nose, lower jaw and filling the valley of tears.

Requirements:

All of the training courses have a certain standard that improves the quality of our courses. To participate in some of them you need to meet certain requirements. To take part in the Face volume with needle and cannula training you must:

• have a cosmetic services technician, cosmetologist or nurse*
• have completed Basic and MasterClass filling techniques at Aesthetic Cosmetics or have completed 2 filler courses in a similar training unit

*If you have not completed any of these courses, the second option is to provide us with the relevant documents or certificates that will confirm your experience in the profession and performing similar procedures.
